Cultura Connect is celebrating yet another addition to their already strong team. Sally Ball has joined Cultura Connect as a Recruitment Consultant, bringing with her extensive experience in the Fresh Produce sector and food supply chains. Sally was brought up in Staffordshire on her family's dairy farm and farming has wholeheartedly been part of her life ever since.
Being our 6th Harper Adams alumni to join the team, Sally will bring all of her commercial & sector experience to help our client base resource exceptional candidates to help grow their businesses.
Having had a few years working outside of the agricultural & food sector she is excited to get back to working in the sector that she loves, working amongst her extensive network and making new connections.

Sally expands on some of her commercial experience;
I spent a number of years in commercial teams procuring salad lines for The Organic Salad Company then later kiwi fruit and dates for Worldwide Fruit. Managing stock, liaising with growers from across the world to meet the needs of the multiples.
Developing an interest in food standards I joined SALSA, managing and developing the scheme to become the UK's leading small and micro food certification standard. A thoroughly enjoyable and engaging role responding to the needs of the industry, working closely with leading retailers and food service providers to ensure wide recognition and acceptance of the standard.
Continuing within the supply chain, I joined the National Trust as the Food and Beverage Supply Chain Manager. Ensuring a robust and safe supply chain was maintained throughout the trust, managing suppliers to ensure they meet and maintain the requirements for supply. Another amazing opportunity allowing me to develop my skills whilst enjoying some of the most beautiful properties the National Trust has to offer!
