Before joining Cultura Connect, Sally gained extensive experience in the fresh produce sector and food supply chains. She spent several years in commercial teams sourcing organic salad lines, followed by kiwi fruit and dates, supplying major UK retailers. Her career then moved into auditing and food safety, where she managed the SALSA approval scheme, before later joining the National Trust overseeing their food and beverage supply chain across their catering operations and properties.
Sally grew up on her family’s dairy farm in Staffordshire, where farming has always been a central part of her life. She still visits regularly to stay connected and up to date with the latest developments on the farm, now run by her brother. As our sixth Harper Adams alumna to join the team, Sally brings a wealth of commercial and sector experience to support our clients in finding exceptional candidates to grow their businesses. She holds an HND in Agriculture and Animal Science, which she later topped up to a BSc in Animal Health and Welfare.
Sally's people-focused, process-driven approach as Recruitment Support Manager makes her an invaluable asset to Cultura Connect, seamlessly combining her exceptional attention to detail in crafting job descriptions and maintaining current procedures with her warm, professional handling of speculative applications that creates positive first impressions for all potential candidates.
Outside of work, Sally leads an active lifestyle through dog walking, running and horse riding.
