Kim Marsh
Born on a dairy farm in Cheshire, Kim's childhood was surrounded by livestock and wildlife instilled a lifelong love of animals and nature. After completing her A-Levels, she secured a position with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, beginning a career that would take her through various departments from Livestock Subsidies to Organic Farming. This diverse experience provided Kim with comprehensive industry knowledge and a robust understanding of both the opportunities and challenges within agriculture.
Kim subsequently moved to London to work within the International Animal Health Division at DEFRA in Westminster. Following a successful career with the department, she relocated back to Cheshire.
Upon returning to Cheshire, Kim transitioned into recruitment with a Manchester-based agency. Over 15 years, she has dedicated herself to helping individuals and businesses secure their ideal roles and perfect candidates. This experience has not only developed her expertise in identifying exceptional candidates but has also built a wealth of best practice knowledge that she now applies at Cultura Connect.
Kim's extensive background in both agriculture and recruitment positions her uniquely to counsel both candidates and clients. Her ability to clearly understand the needs of both parties makes her an integral part of the Cultura Connect team.
As Head of Operations & People, Kim ensures the business runs smoothly behind the scenes while managing several recruitment projects.
Outside the office, Kim enjoys spending quality time with her two teenage children and taking long countryside walks with her Labrador, Hattie. Much of her spare time is spent driving her children to various activities, and she takes great joy in watching her son compete in sports and her daughter perform on stage through her acting, singing, and dancing pursuits. Kim also plays competitive tennis in a local Cheshire league, enjoys keeping fit, and loves to travel, particularly to places that offer the chance to unwind, stay active, or experience new cultures.
