Kate Pocock

Born into a dairy farming family, Kate was raised with the values and ethics intrinsic to the agricultural industry. This foundation inspired her to pursue a B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics at the University of Reading. Following graduation, she applied her knowledge to sales and marketing roles within the agri sector, more recently focusing on the significant potential of social media in agribusiness.

Kate possesses a distinctive skill set that combines firm roots in farming and agriculture with extensive knowledge of contemporary marketing strategies. As Cultura's Marketing Director, Kate oversees all operational marketing communications activities and champions the promotion of the agricultural sector. She is determined to attract talent from both farming backgrounds and non-agricultural sectors to the wealth of opportunities the industry provides.

Kate's passion for the sector is evident in her approach: "These are exciting times for Agriculture, and we love seeing our candidates thrive in positions which the Cultura Connect team have helped secure. Outside the office, Kate supports Hugh in running their farming business, spends considerable time supporting their children in various sporting activities, and enjoys hiking, running, and horse riding when time allows!
